My dad and I do pretty much all of the work to the car, but we got sick of replacing and trying things for months, so we took it into the shop and found out her vacuum lines were ripped and the egr gasket we put on, was upside down... But it looked the same either way, oh well..whitelightning2 said:My Z has never been in the shop. 8)

My 2.0L OHC ran fine for 12 years. Then the vacuum lines got too old, if they would have been replaced more often it would have been fine (yeah the EGR too). The only other problem is a slowly leaking head gasket, because the car sat and was not used much for a few years (when my mom stopped driving it when she got an Isuzu Rodeo)..whitetiger said:OK, maybe it's just me, but I here so many people having problems with their j-bod's. Did I luck out and get a good one? Is the 2.0OHC more reliable? What's the deal?
