I've had issues for years with my cooling fan. No clue why it does this, but it does. I've gone through 2 relays with the same results. Obviously the relay and harness need to be replaced, but what in the hell would be causing this to burn out every time?

I'm thinking it's the fan itself that's the issue. I do have the cooling fan override mode done, but that only drops a neutral, and has nothing to do with the pin or power to the relay. (If I remember correctly, I may be way off)

Looking to finally fix this and possibly upgrade something at the same time!

I have two questions:

1. What do you think would cause this to melt ?

2. What other radiator fan would fit my car? Would love to just put a dual fan unit it.

I have an 1994 Sunbird SE 3.1

Edit: Guess
