With that MPH you should be running a mid 15 easily.

A good 60ft is atleast a 2.2 60ft....with that you'd be hitting mid15's for sure, depending you shift well enough.

Keep it up...come to St. Thomas on the 29th. A bunch of us will be there...bring the car with less gas and an empty trunk. :wink:

Yea, i filled it right up, so i had like a little over half a tank going down the track, but i used 94 sunoco brew. I was wondering, would 3400 rockers bolt down on 3.1 heads? Im maybe thinking of putting it into the 14's before i retire the 3.1....

Don't retire the 3.1!!

Just work on suspension and get some solid Engine Mounts....you'd be running 14's in no time.

Why wouldnt i? I have a Pretty thing that says 3400 on it I got the top end from a 3400, now i just need a short block and i will begin building. Now, will 3400 rockers bolt onto a 3.1? Looking for some extra throw, i dont have the time or money for the suspension right now, when i do it i want it the way i want it. Eibachs, konis, and poly bushings comming outta my arse. Now is anybody selling some eibachs for cheap? Also i dont think the tires are any good for traction, so im gonna slap some 225/16/55 on the front, and then it should hook up better

Jim you may have a motor like mars, he has an extremely high trap speed for his ET. 99 mph for a 14.4 et. It all depends on how you drive.

I shift at 5500 RPM,,,,,

I rember when me mars and a few other people were at sparta,,,

there was a supper charged cav doing i think 14.4's and I had a faster mile per hour lol

u guys arnt scared of hurting something at 6 k? I understand that it gets u alot faster et,, but it worries me

my best run was 14.9 at 5000k

my best run so far is 14.7 at 5500k

I wonder what 6 would give me lol

What am i gonna hurt? my motor isn't burned up yet from my 3.1 injectors and pre 00 FPR (when i had it on the road atleast)... now it's an AFPR but anyway...

I have yet to see anyone have any problems revving to 6k. Valve spring floats around 6200 rpms.

If you're that worried, don't do it.

My best run of 14.5 is at 6000 rpms. I would've had a faster run that night ... :-( oh well i didn't cause my slave decided to start being stupid...

well i just got my chip today and my multi tec 2 injectors with higher Presser FPR

So I ll be back this weekend to see what shell do

Jim you need a air fuel sensor. At least then youll know if its safe to ramp her up to 6 grand. Get that z fixed up and post a 14.5! Your car is fast as hell man, I remeber racing you and i was just watching you pull away like a mofo. Mind you im bad at launching and my r/t's are horrible, but none the less.....BTW i notice you launch then let off the gas for a sec then floor it again? Wouldnt it be better to just feather it out and start giving it hell in second? I cant wait to see your times and dans times.
