I posted this on some other forums but here goes my boosted times. they are sad and slow, but it had snowed 2 days earlier like 6 inches and the ground was sweating. i had so much wheel spin it was not funny. i basicly hooked in 4th gear.. here is a comparo for my N/A VS turbo times

ok so i hit the track for the very first time tonight. i had fun, but really found out how bad my car sucks. i ran 7 times and let my friend run it twice.
he put down the best time. i got a couple questions tho. heres the slips...

ok heres where the question comes in. he has a '90 Z 3.1 auto, we ran each a couple times. heres the slip from the last race, which was also my best. he jumped about a car and a half on me too.

whats happening here? why did i run faster in the 1/8 than him. i know its not by much but with his R/T he should have blistered me. shouldn't he? i new to all this so im trying to understand it completely.

keep in mind his is all stock engine and exhaust, except for a WAI, he was running on stock rims. my motor is new/old stock (see registry) execpt for Accel 8mm plug wires, WAI, 2 1/4" straight thru from the down pipe back and a Jet chip.

from watching the videos, my car seems to really bog down off the line but then really picks up towards the top of 1st. his just jumps right off the line.

any help on this would be appreciated.

it was like 50F.. the damn track was really cold.. i was launching at about 2K RPM with the drag radials and having to go real easy on it to avoid wheel spin. got 5 or 6 runs in and did some tuning on the first few, then the laptop battery died.. lol

I'm sure moon will post his times soon, he's goty a few hrs to drive first.
