my power windows on my 90 Z are really slow at going up and down. So what my question is is can u buy brand new motors from GM or anywhere else to replece the old ones and how much do they run. OR......... is it better to get off a junkyard car????? the only thing im worried about from a junkyard car is having the same prob. :-?

I would buy them new. The hard part is installing the motors, it would suck to install junkyard ones just to find out that they dont work.

yeah something hard to deal with getting in and out i would go with new.... so many times had i gone out.. ripped something out and came home to find it dont work.... ugh.... but yea it can be alot cheaper.... but u might go back 2 or 3 times..
A little tip to help the window motors to last longer, is to oil the widow tracks a couple of times a year. It helps the motors to work less. Get yourself a siringe put in some motor oil, pop the door panel off and get it in there the best you can.
instead of oil, wouldn't the white lithium grease in a convenient spray can stay in there longer?

Whatever you choose it will help
