I'm positive it's not just a bolt on, most likely need some adaptor plate and modifications to the throttle cable and bracket, probably some wiring changes.

which year of 2.2L.??

98+ 2200? should work actually. you'll need to change a few things. but if its a 2.2L 97 or older.. as said a bit of work to make it fit.
