Question about tire pressure.

Hi guys..

I have a quick question. What is the best tire pressure for my tires when I am traveling. I'm on a road trip right now and I don't want to "Speed" up my tire wear. SO what do you guys think the ideal pressure is? I have them at 40psi right now. The were at 31psi but I was getting wear on the outer of the tires because of my speedy cornering.

Need you input :)
Thanks

Yea, I've been wondering the same for awhile now. It only says max 44 psi. I try and keep them at 38 or so. This is the z of course.
You have to account for the air expanding from the heat and friction...
Ya.. My tires say Max 50psi. So I have them at 40. The difference in handling between 31 to 40 is huge. Way better handling. :)

Just want to make sure when traveling long distance.. if there was a "right or best" pressure.

well if the tire says 50psi, then i would put closer to 50 then 30-40.
Recommended in the manual is 29 cold or 32 warm.
back in auto class... they tell us -5psi for max pressure.... cause they dont take in expansion so yeah 40-45
well.. i dont nkow man... i do the 28-32 since my tires at 35max
