is there a gasket or ring you need for it, or does the flange alone seal?

I know on my turbo theres no gasket where the downpipe attaches but I cant remember on the 3400 flange..

There is a groove cut into the flange where a steel crush ring sits. That is your gasket. A gm dealer will have it. I got mine for about $15.

with the gm strike going on now if we got it in stock i can but if not no one can get anything from gm till after the strike but ill check
