Its pretty much cut and fibreglass an intake hole on the hood.................
I havent done it but know some peeps that have...
But take your time and you're probably better of to have another hood

That setup is better than cutting your hood to shit. I was walking around the home depot and noticed this Dryer Exaust Tubing. it's metal and flexable, that would be perfect to make a ram air that's virtually un-noticable.

I haven't got the time not patience to try this right now but just thougfht i'd throw that idea up in the air for people to try.

I ran mine through the hood. Im making a Chrome Y intake so I can run a intake to each Hood Scoop. Right now I'm only using one scoop and one intake.
I enclosed the filter in a PVC Box that flushes to the hood with thick trunk material molding when it is closed. I insulated the Box with DynoMat to keep the heat from the Manifold out of the box.I Tapped the Air sensor into the intake by the TB.

The only motor and scoop pic I have right now are in my registry. The car is in storage right now. I will have more updated pics of the new intake setup,F/X Front end, Air struts, and interior in the spring. Sorry
