rust project. pic

today i got ride of some rust that has been buging the shit out of me, and got more then i thought.



the hightlighted spots had rust but i didn't know about the passanger side intill i took off the weather molding and found tons of it. so i got out the dremal and took it back to the frame and sprayed the rubber coating on it. i hope that will help.

Good work, I need to work on gettin the rust off my car. btw nice car, looks exactly like mine.
it's not rust on thetop of that bumper cover bud, that's only fiberglass,,,unless it's on the metal part of the trunk in that area, and in that case, good job for you...

yah i know the bumper is fiberglass. its the trunk itself. i'm going to finish spraying rubber around the rest of the rain gutter to help with the rusting.
that will prolly only last you about one yr if that before you see rust again. depends on how much more salt and water you feed it.
you guys sure that the bumpers are fiberglass?
i had a 93 and i know on it they where some polysomethingorother plastic.
shit was wayyyyy better then fiber glass, you could'nt crack it no matter what you did, it would just bend and you could bend it right back.

only the hood is made of glass, the bumpers are some kinda plastic
Urethane.
