I am installing Autometer gauges into my pillar pod I purchased a while back and I have just one question.

Right now my water temp gauge in my cluster is in degrees C. I want to put a gauge into my pillar pod that is in degrees F. Does the water temp sensor have to be replaced so it knows to send back a reading accurate to F, and not to C?

Thanks.

Not entirely sure. It would all depend on how it's calibrated. They work fine on Zs here in the States but we have *F readouts on our cluster already. I wouldn't see why the Canadian cars would use a different CTS but who knows.

The temperature difference between C and F is just a scaling issue that is on the gauge overlay IIRC.

An autometer gauge will probably need its own sensor but you can check with Autometer and get the specs of their sensor and compare it to the stock temperature sensor.
