solobaric or w7

the W7 is probably the better speaker. What solobaric series are you looking at?? The L5 or the L7?

W7 is the way to go, better sound quality.

ok IMO there is no better speaker in this one, first what kind of woofer are you looking for, SPL (big deep Competition Bass) or SQ (sound Quality) the better woofer in my opinion for SPL is a L7, this things can hit crazy low notes, like 25 hertz no problem. And while the W7 will get crazy loud and Crazy clear it wont go as low as 25 hertz. On the other hand the L7 will not have the same clearity at high volumes as the W7, so its just all comes down to what your goin for. Hope this helped a little...later.

Oh my god I wish you would stop posting! :roll: The best sub in this comparison would be the W7. Below are the T/S for each sub which will tell you which one is the better sub by simply looking at them.

i'm going with one w7 10"er, then i'm going to have mb quart 6.5"ers in the front and the same in the rear. should be damn sweet when its done.

Get the H.O. enclosure for the 10 and you will be amazed.

MY box fit, and it is to JL specs, I got 2 W7 10's and my ports are 12inchx1.5x22.5deep. BIG ASS BOX but it SLAMS!!!!! My friend had me build him a box for his L7 and it was to Kickers specs. However it blew after a month running off a KX400.1 amp. IMO JL drops lower, and is FAR MORE musical, the L7's are loud, but not my style at all.

Surely you're kidding, and NO I won't stop calling you surely.

i got my jensen's from my cousin, he couldn;t blow them, he tried. i have them hooked directly to my pioneer deck right now and that's 50 watts max to each sub that can handle 600 and they pound pretty good, these are the best jensen's

solo barics beat the f.ck up , i have to give them that, but ive had a bunch of friends who had them and after four or five months the corner foam surround started to crack. in my oppinion i would go with the w7's. ive never heard them but ive heard awesome things about them and from the majority of likes and dislikes on this post it sounds like its the best way to go besides money wise.

but hey.... these are all opinions from, im pretty sure, smart people and know what they are talking about in both cases , but its ur decision buddy.
