i think i found the problem there is a little square box that looks like there is a fuse inside it. it is all by itself near the corner of the engine bay. the thing is clicking and while it clicks the engine idles high. what the hell is the thing? is it a relay? what is it called! help me out please!

If its a square box, and its clicking, and it has 4 or 5 wires coming out of it, then yes, it is a relay. But there shouldnt be a relay clicking on and off when the idle gets high....... Your idle problem may be a bad IAC motor, causing it to idle up and down. Try and pull your codes, and see what u get.
