I ordered KYB brand Shocks, Struts, Boots, and the whole nine yards all the way around on my car from Rockauto .... everything came in just fine. Then after the mechanic installed them, he mentioned that the car might make a popping nose when turning. Turns out new bearing plates did not come with the KYB strut mounts.

Does anybody know where I can get new bearing plates or should we just reuse the original ones?

Should the bearing plates have came with the kit and just accidedntially omitted?

I take these are you are talking about;

They are not included with the strut mounts.

You can use the original ones as long as they are not rusted or damaged. I would replace the rubber insulators with new ones.

Iam in the processing redoing my struts and shocks with KYB same as you.
Did you resolved the problem that you have?
