Having never needed to take mine out this is only going to be a guess. Remove the latch from the inside of the trunk. Then there should be a clip of some sort that holds the lock in place. Remove the clip and the lock cylinder should pull out.

i'm pretty sure you just have to remove the rubber "gasket" from around it and then give it a twist and it should slide right out....... atleast mine did...... and it was all done from the outside of the car :)

Boy was I way off, I looked at it when I left work yesterday. Way easier than I had made it out to be. Last time I did it was on a car where the whole latch had to come off to get to the clip.
