I would have the ignition coils and ignition module tested. I would also see if the computer was any good. Hope this helps ya a little bit!

Try your coils and ignition module...I did a free spell check for you...spike said:I have changed the spark plug wires and checked the spark plugs, changed the tps, the iac, and the coolant temp sensor in the bell i have changed the mat too. and my car still back fires between 900 and 3500 rpms but once I am over about 45 mph the back fire stops and I get code 24 vss from the computer i even relearned the computer to see if that would help and the o2 sensor is new too. I think maybe a coil went bad how can I test this. and what els would cause my car to back fire I know it is because the car is running too rich.
