What tranny brand?

I have a 93 Sunbird w/ 2.0L OHC. What tranny was matched up to that engine? Getrag, Isuzu,????

Mine is a 91, I think mine is the Isuzu. I bet its an Isuzu, but not 100% positive. Someone around here should know.

definately the isuzu, the getrag/muncie was never mated with a 4 cyl...

Actually, it was. The HM282/NVGT550 cousins were mated to most DOHC Quad 4s, and ALL HO/W41 Quad 4s.

So it sounds like the getrag was mated to the higher horsepower engines. So is it same to assume I have the isuzu?
