just wanted to know what every one has planed for next spring and what kind of #'s in the 1/4 are you looking for! :pimp:

just trying to get some more bench racing going :D !!!

- Federal Mogul Rod bearings p/n SEA6-4020AP

-custom pushrods
-Crane Hmv-260-Z cam p/n 253902 (kit)

-block honed and hot tanked.
-56 MM throttlebody
-"y" dual exhaust
-mild polishing to 3400 intake manifolds
-mild ported and polished 3400 heads
-relocated power steering pump reservoir
-1.6:1 roller fulcrum rockers giving .454"/.484" lift
-3400 fuel rails
-3400 fuel injectors (17 lbs/hr)
- Speedpro OEm replacememnt oil pump
-Walbro 255 Lph fuel pump
3100 pistons 10:1 compression
(using iron head head gaskets)

i am looking to dip into the mid 13's, getting new cam for turbo, new crossover, underdrive pulley, and port out the intake side of the heads(maybe), and putting a 5 speed in. Will put money into engine till it runs mid 13's.

well n/a is more difficult but haven't seen those numbers from a 3.1 so good luck. I am sure you are going to switch the motor out(i think). If i really wanted to play hardcore i would stick the 3400 in there with a turbo run same compression that the 3400 does and run race gas, i would assume it would run pretty close to what the frank's 3.8 turbo runs. I need something that is driveable tho so i am sticking with just the turbo 3.1! But what are your plans for getting it to run mid 13's?

Goodwrench Engine from GM installed with new hoses, radiator, ac condensor, alternator, and other parts in about 10-15 days.

That combined with my new paint, rims, tires will make me happy to drive my car :D

shave my LT-1 heads to get more compression (11.5-12.0 :1)

You never mentioned that it had to be a J-body. ;) Besides, I could be talking about my J-body, or am I?

you have aLOT of work to do if you are talking about your j-body :moon: and this is in J-BODY performance :wink:

plans for next year: remain faster than dan. well and franz too! he's been too quiet... ive seen tid bits of what he's up to... like the calm before the storm....

that and for next year:
blow up the engine, i didnt accomplish it this year... pretty impressed with the stock bottom end! 6200 rpm shifts everyday i drive it, and still going strong... well oil pressure has dropped some over the 50,000kms since i rebuilt it...

i cant build a new engine till i blow this one up.
g/f's rules. not mine,...

but i do have a few parts sitting around for the new engine... :wink:
