not to jack your thread or nething..... but i need one center cap for my Z too. It's the checkerboard design i guess.... looks like a checkerboard and it says chevrolet on the bottom of it. let me know how much you want and i'll send you a couple bux in a money order or wutever. thanx

yah them are the checkerboard ones, i really really really want new rims though, but i may as well have the full rim when i try to sell mine

Why on earth GM would discontinue only the '89 part number is beyond me. And yes, I do own a set of all three. My factory '89s, a set of new '90s that I used for about a year (for sale BTW ) and a set of new, in the box, never to be driven on '88s.
