yup they are bolted nd alittle hard to get too, u have to take off the door panel nd look at the bottom of the door i think their are 4 bolts.
ahh ok

hmm i was hoping not to have to take the door panel apart but i guess i gotta :)
they are bolted on, and just slipped onto a lil plastic thingy that is on the side of the car... just pull them up  ... after you unbolt them..
Speaking of door panels, where can I get this special tool so I can remove the Window crank handle? My Chiltons refers it to tool J-21104. Any thoughts? I've never taken my panel off, but I sure want to..!
Most auto parts/supplies stores carrie the tool. Usually cheap stamped steel tool around 5 bucks makes it much easier to remove the steel clip although some people have luck with the end of a hacksaw blade, a rag, etc,
The funniest was years ago I went into Canadian Tire to see if they have that tool available to rent (loan-a-tool) and the guy came out with a couple of huge pickle forks

Okay, yeah, I guess when I get a chance I'll head down to my local Schucks. I'd rather use a tool because it was designed to take the handle off instead of possibly screwing something up with other approaches. Thanks
